# How to add customers and find them in the list | Krishi Udhar

Find an existing customer or add a new one. Record the correct mobile number and village so bills and earlier dues stay in the same customer account.

## Follow these steps

### Search for the customer first

Search the list by name. Choose an existing customer instead of creating a new account each time.

### Enter a new customer’s details

For a new customer, enter their name, ten-digit mobile number and village. Choose WhatsApp reminder permission according to their consent.

### Check similar names before saving

If a similar name appears, check whether it is the same person. Save the correct details and find the customer in the list.

## Keep in mind

Multiple accounts for the same customer can split their earlier dues. Check the name and mobile number before saving.
