Record money received against earlier dues in the correct customer account. Check the amount, payment method and remaining balance.

## Follow these steps

### Choose the correct customer

Open the account of the customer who paid and check their earlier dues.

### Enter the money received

In the money-received option, enter the actual amount, payment method and required details.

### Save and check the balance

Review and save the payment. Check the recorded amount and remaining dues in the customer account.

## Keep in mind

A payment promise is different from money received. Record a payment only after the money has actually arrived.
